I spotted a wee blog recently whilst doing some tangential clicking, and have been sent some gorgeous wee glass bottles. Not really sure what I am going to use them for – yet! Any suggestions?

umm, put layers of coloured sand in and sell to tourists !
Bottled air – to sell to tourists
A wee bit of old faded Tartan & say it was Rob Roy’s or William Wallace’s or Bonnie Prince Charlie’s …and sell to tourists …
Bottle Loch Ness water and sell….
storage jars for doll’s houses ?
jars for beads is too obvious ! Let me know what you use them for !
Have you seen Tracey’s picture today at Tracey’s crafty scraps Blog – ( link through mine ) it’s worth a look & a giggle

Surely one must have a message put in it and thrown to sea off the East Neuk on Monday? (But then it seems such a shame to give away a bottle that’s only just come to live with you…)
I have a vase with a wee stone that I bring back from every hill that I climb with Tony (yes, it’s a very small vase) – maybe you could fill up each bottle with some water from every beach/loch/river you visit this year?
Umm, you could put a wee message and/or a charm in each one for the next ten years and M could open one on her birthday every year (until she’s 13, yikes!!) Then when she’s 13 she gets to decide what to do with the bottles for the next ten yers (am I overthinking this?!)
Er, learn how to erect a ship in them?
